Cruise lines outline new Caribbean, Alaska and Europe programs through 2028
Princess, MSC, Royal Caribbean, Margaritaville at Sea, Explora Journeys and Holland America have announced upcoming ships and itineraries.

Princess Cruises plans its largest Caribbean season to date from October 2027 through April 2028, offering 187 departures across nine ships, including Star Princess and Sun Princess. The company also plans a 64-day Ultimate European Journey departing April 30, 2027, round-trip from Southampton.
MSC Cruises intends to position MSC World Asia in the Southern Caribbean for winter 2027-28. The ship is scheduled to operate seven- and 14-night cruises from Fort-de-France, Pointe-à-Pitre and Bridgetown.
Royal Caribbean’s Legend of the Seas is due to begin Caribbean service in November 2026, with six-night Western Caribbean and eight-night Southern Caribbean itineraries. Margaritaville at Sea’s Beachcomber is scheduled to launch in 2027 and sail four- to eight-night Eastern and Southern Caribbean cruises from PortMiami.
In Alaska, Explora Journeys plans to introduce Explora III from May through September 2027, with calls at Juneau, Wrangell, Ketchikan, Prince Rupert, Seward and Skagway. Holland America Line will add an eight-day Alaska Inside Passage itinerary sailing round-trip from Vancouver in 2027.
Explora Journeys also expects Explora V to debut in December 2027. The ship is planned for Mediterranean voyages covering 27 destinations in nine countries.
