Cruise lines map out Canada, New England and Pacific Northwest itineraries
Sailings from eight cruise lines combine regional ports, scenic river passages, overnight stays and sea days.
Holland America’s Zuiderdam is scheduled to sail from Quebec City to Boston in October, visiting Portland, Halifax, Sydney and Charlottetown while also cruising the St. Lawrence River. Norwegian Cruise Line has a Quebec City-to-Philadelphia itinerary calling at Saguenay, Charlottetown, Sydney, Halifax, Bar Harbor, Portland and Boston.
Princess Cruises will operate a roundtrip New York voyage aboard Majestic Princess, with stops in Newport, Boston, Saint John and Halifax. Celebrity Cruises also has a roundtrip Boston sailing that visits Rockland, Halifax, Sydney, Charlottetown and Portland, along with an overnight stay in Quebec City.
Cunard’s itinerary includes an overnight in Quebec City, calls at Saguenay, Sept Iles and Halifax, and two days aboard the ship. Regent Seven Seas Cruises will sail from Montreal to New York, stopping at Quebec City, Saguenay, Baie Comeau, Gaspe, Sydney, Halifax, St. John and Bar Harbor, with two scenic sailing days.
Royal Caribbean’s roundtrip Cape Liberty cruise includes Boston and Portland, an overnight in Saint John and three sea days. In the Pacific Northwest, American Cruise Lines has a late-October American Pride river cruise from Clarkston to Portland, visiting Pendleton, Kalama and Astoria and sailing scenic stretches of the Columbia and Snake rivers.
