Crown Princess opens Victoria’s 2026/27 cruise season
The 3,080-passenger ship arrived at Melbourne’s Station Pier ahead of an Australian circumnavigation and will return to homeport in the city in 2028/29.

Princess Cruises’ Crown Princess became the first cruise ship to visit Station Pier for Victoria’s 2026/27 cruise season when it arrived in Melbourne on Monday.
The 3,080-passenger vessel is undertaking a 28-day circumnavigation of Australia. Its scheduled calls include Adelaide, Albany, Fremantle, Broome, Darwin and Brisbane before it returns to Sydney.
After the Australian voyage, Crown Princess is scheduled to cross the Pacific, transit the Panama Canal and continue cruising in the Caribbean.
Princess Cruises said Crown Princess will return for the 2028/29 season as the first ship from the line to homeport in Melbourne for several years. The company plans to announce its complete 2028/29 Australian summer program, including the Melbourne deployment, on October 28. Sales are scheduled to open November 11.
