Crown Princess enters final stretch of 114-night world cruise
The ship is scheduled to return to Sydney in early September before continuing its year-round Australian program.
Crown Princess is operating the final leg of a 114-night roundtrip world cruise that departed Sydney in May. The Princess Cruises itinerary includes 44 destinations and has taken the ship through Northern Europe, Iceland, Canada and the U.S. East Coast.
Its North American calls included Quebec City, Saguenay, New York City and Miami. Crown Princess then visited Cartagena de Indias in Colombia before transiting the Panama Canal and returning to the Pacific.
The 3,100-passenger vessel subsequently called at Manta, Ecuador, and Callao, Peru. Its itinerary also included Easter Island in Chile and the French Polynesian destinations of Papeete and Moorea. Crown Princess is scheduled to complete the voyage in Sydney in early September, then begin a 35-night sailing to Tahiti and Hawaii. Additional regional cruises are planned before the ship repositions to the Caribbean later in the year.
Grand Princess is scheduled to assume Princess Cruises’ year-round Australian operations in 2027. Rather than a full world cruise, the ship is set to offer a 79-night Circle Pacific itinerary from Sydney, Brisbane and Auckland, visiting destinations across the Pacific, Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand. Planned regions include Fiji, French Polynesia, Hawaii, the U.S. West Coast, Alaska, Japan and the Far East.
