Costa Favolosa Revises Norway Itinerary as Rough Weather Looms
Calls at Leknes and Bodø were dropped, while Trondheim gained an overnight stay and Kristiansand was added.

Costa Favolosa changed its Norwegian itinerary after forecasts indicated strong winds and rough seas near Leknes and Bodø. In an October 12 notice, Captain Valentino Savarese informed guests that the ship needed to head south earlier than planned, requiring both scheduled calls to be cancelled.
Under the revised schedule, Costa Favolosa was due to arrive in Trondheim at 9 p.m. on October 13 and remain until 11 p.m. on October 14. The original October 15 Trondheim call was replaced by a day at sea. Haugesund was moved forward to October 16, with a visit scheduled from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Kristiansand was added for October 17 in the time previously assigned to Haugesund. The ship was scheduled to visit from 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Costa Cruises offered affected guests €100 in onboard credit per person, limited to two guests in each stateroom. The company said unused credit would be refunded after applicable onboard spending was deducted. Costa Cruises excursions reserved for Leknes or Bodø were also set to be cancelled automatically and refunded.
