Cordelia Cruises adds Sky as fleet expansion continues
The new ship is due to launch Mumbai sailings in October, while Sun is scheduled to join the fleet in November 2027.

Cordelia Cruises has announced the addition of Cordelia Sky, enabling the cruise line to serve two homeports at the same time and expand its operations across western and southern India.
According to the company, Sky and Cordelia Empress will together provide 1,798 staterooms and accommodate about 3,596 guests at double occupancy. That represents an approximately 126% increase in double-occupancy capacity from Cordelia’s previous single-ship operation.
Cordelia Sky is scheduled to start commercial service from Mumbai on Oct. 23. Its program will include two-night cruises at sea, three-night Goa voyages, four-night Lakshadweep sailings and five-night itineraries combining Goa and Lakshadweep.
The cruise line said Sky is also planned to operate seven-night Southeast Asia itineraries from Chennai, visiting destinations including Phuket, Langkawi, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore.
President and CEO Jurgen Bailom said Cordelia Empress would begin operating from Kochi, while a third ship, Cordelia Sun, is set to enter the fleet in 2027. The company separately specified that Sun is scheduled to join in November, describing the expansion as part of its long-term effort to develop India’s cruise holiday market and offer Indian travelers more choices.
