Century Dream begins maiden Yangtze River voyage
Century Cruises’ new 650-passenger river ship will operate between Chongqing and Yichang through the Three Gorges area.

Century Dream departed Chongqing’s Chaotianmen pier on September 21 for its maiden voyage. Operated by Century Cruises, the vessel is assigned to an itinerary linking Chongqing and Yichang through the Three Gorges region of the Yangtze River.
The 15,000-ton river ship measures 149.99 meters in length and 21.2 meters in width. Its seven decks contain 236 guest cabins, with total capacity for as many as 650 passengers. Recreational spaces and an immersive stage intended for NPC performances are also available onboard.
Chongqing Guanda Century Cruise Co., Ltd., which operates under the Century Cruises brand, designed the vessel and serves as its operator.
The debut follows another milestone for the company in August, when Century Star completed its first cruise on Europe’s Rhine River. Century Cruises is also constructing several additional ships intended for operations on the Nile.
