Celebrity PowerUp activity offers two Captains Club points
The points can move new members from Preview to Classic status and open access to an MGM Rewards status match.
Celebrity Cruises loyalty members can earn 20 PowerUp points by completing an activity before its stated August deadline. Those points convert into two Captains Club points, which are scheduled to be credited to members’ accounts on September 14, 2026.
For newly enrolled members, the two Club points are enough to advance from Preview to Classic status once the points post to their accounts.
The report says Classic members may apply for an instant match to Pearl status in the MGM Rewards program. Benefits at MGM properties can include complimentary parking and some line privileges, although availability depends on the property.
According to the report, the status match from Celebrity Cruises to MGM Rewards remains available annually. Members can complete the matching process by phone.
