Activities highlighted in the account included a small-group wine-and-cheese tasting in Kusadasi booked through the ship’s shore excursions team, as well as dining ashore in Istanbul and Naples.
On board, Celebrity Ascent offers 18 restaurants and 14 bars, lounges and cafés, for a total of 32 food-and-beverage experiences. Its four main dining rooms are Normandie, Cosmopolitan, Cyprus and Tuscany.
Additional-fee venues include Fine Cut Steakhouse and Le Voyage by Daniel Boulud. According to the review, Forbes Travel Guide awarded the restaurants Four-Star and Five-Star ratings, respectively. The account also said Celebrity Ascent received an overall Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star rating during its maiden voyage.
