CBP says ten Norwegian Escape crew members were deported in Boston
The agency identified the crew members as nine Philippine citizens and one Nepalese citizen.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection reported in a Sept. 3 press release that ten Norwegian Escape crew members were deported at the Port of Boston. The agency said the action occurred on Aug. 31 and involved nine citizens of the Philippines and one citizen of Nepal who worked aboard the NCL cruise ship.
CBP alleged that, during secondary interviews, the Norwegian Escape crew members admitted they had previously consumed child sexual exploitation material or child sexual abuse material, also referred to as CSEM or CSAM.
In a separate account involving Viking Mars, the family of a crew member said CBP removed five Filipino crew members from the ship at the Port of Boston and interrogated them.
Since April, CBP has officially reported through press releases that it deported sixty-five crew members through its Tidal Wave program. The agency also reported arresting one ship employee for prosecution during that period.
