Carnival to Increase Europe Capacity Share in 2027
Carnival Miracle and Carnival Sunshine are slated for European itineraries ranging from seven to 15 nights.

Carnival plans to allocate 34% of its capacity to Europe in 2027, up from 31% in 2026. The Caribbean’s share is expected to decline from 35% to 34%, leaving the two regions with equal portions of the company’s capacity in 2027.
Chief Executive Josh Weinstein said Carnival is adjusting its deployment mix toward opportunities it considers most attractive while keeping overall capacity growth relatively flat. He also said bookings for Europe in the following year had strengthened, particularly during the third quarter, which represents the largest part of the company’s European deployment.
Carnival Cruise Line will deploy Carnival Miracle and Carnival Sunshine in Europe on voyages lasting seven to 15 nights. Listed fares for the European sailings range from about $700 to $1,800.
Schedules listed by CruiseMapper show Carnival Sunshine beginning with a 15-night Norfolk-to-Dover voyage on May 15, 2027, followed by a 10-night Dover-to-Barcelona sailing on May 30. Carnival Miracle is listed for a 14-night Galveston-to-Lisbon voyage on May 6, followed by a nine-night Lisbon-to-Dover sailing on May 20.
