Carnival to adopt dynamic pricing for cruise add-ons
Drink packages, Wi-Fi plans and other extras will vary in price by sailing from December 1, 2026.

Carnival Cruise Line will introduce dynamic pricing for drink packages, Wi-Fi plans and other add-ons on December 1, 2026. Prices will vary based on factors including cruise length, itinerary and season, meaning the same package could cost different amounts on different sailings.
As of October 2026, Carnival’s alcoholic beverage package cost $89.94 per person per day, including a mandatory 20% service charge. Carnival had not explained the reason for the pricing change or confirmed whether it would be permanent or conducted as a test.
The cruise line’s FunPacks were available to book through October 30. The Kidstarter FunPack cost $25 per person per day and was restricted to guests ages 3 through 17. It included the Bottomless Bubbles soda package, Social Wi-Fi, 1,000 arcade tokens, a complimentary lanyard and a 50% discount on bulk candy at Cherry on Top.
Carnival also offered a Zero Proof FunPack for $50 per person per day, including unlimited non-alcoholic beverages, Value Wi-Fi, a $50 shore excursion discount and a $25 specialty dining discount. The Social FunPack was priced at $60 per person per day.
