Carnival temporarily pauses booking systems for scheduled maintenance
The work affected reservations, online check-in, account services and the cruise line’s HUB App, with completion scheduled for noon ET Sunday.

Carnival Cruise Line temporarily shut down its booking systems Sunday morning as part of scheduled website maintenance. During the outage, guests and travel advisors could not create, cancel or modify reservations. The company scheduled the work to be completed by 12 p.m. ET Sunday.
In an update to travel advisors, Carnival said its reservation systems would be temporarily unavailable while maintenance was performed. Online check-in was also disabled as the company updated its reservation databases. Guests who had not completed check-in before the work began were advised to follow instructions sent to them by email to help prevent delays.
Other unavailable services included Carnival customer profiles, account login access, payment portals, excursion databases and menus for purchasing add-ons. Carnival’s HUB App was disabled as well, affecting passengers already aboard its ships. During the maintenance period, those guests could not use the app to review daily schedules, see restaurant menus, access deck plans or monitor spending through their Sail & Sign accounts.
