Carnival shares gain as company reports record 2027 bookings
The cruise operator’s stock advanced over the preceding month, although it remained lower for 2026.

Carnival shares rose 17% over the preceding month to $26.42, according to the report. The stock was also 2% higher in afternoon trading. Despite the recent advance, Carnival’s shares remained down for 2026, meaning the monthly gain recovered some of the ground lost earlier in the year.
The company reported its third-quarter 2026 results in late September and said bookings for 2027 had reached record levels. In the earnings release, chief executive Josh Weinstein said Carnival achieved quarterly records for both revenue and profit measures. He attributed the performance to strengthening demand and tighter cost controls, adding that results exceeded the company’s expectations.
Other major cruise stocks also increased during the same one-month period. Royal Caribbean Group shares climbed 10% to $279.58, the report said. Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings gained 4% to $15.31, trailing the monthly advances recorded by Carnival and Royal Caribbean.
