Carnival’s Two Remaining Fantasy Class Ships Continue Regional Sailings
Carnival Elation and Carnival Paradise offer four- to six-night cruises from Jacksonville and Tampa as of August 2026.

Carnival had two Fantasy Class vessels operating as of August 2026: Carnival Elation and Carnival Paradise, both dating to 1998. The ships are the smallest in the company’s fleet, measuring less than 72,000 gross tons and accommodating no more than 2,200 passengers at double occupancy.
Each vessel is 855 feet long, with a beam of 103 feet and a maximum width of 118 feet at the pool deck. Their outdoor features include WaterWorks aqua parks, Lido pools, mini-golf courses, adults-only Serenity Decks, ping-pong tables and hot tubs. Each ship has about 1,100 staterooms across suite, balcony, ocean-view and interior categories.
Seven complimentary dining venues are available: the main dining room, BlueIguana Cantina, Guy’s Burger Joint, Carnival Deli, Lido Marketplace, Swirls and Pizza Pirate. Carnival Elation sailed from Jacksonville, while Carnival Paradise operated from Tampa. Their four- to six-night Bahamas and Caribbean itineraries included destinations such as Celebration Key, Cozumel, Princess Cays, Nassau, Grand Cayman and Roatán.
