Carnival Radiance Returns to Long Beach After Scheduled Dry Dock
The 2,984-passenger vessel received updated guest areas, a renewed jewelry boutique and a new Carnival bow crest.

Carnival Cruise Line said Carnival Radiance welcomed passengers in Long Beach again on October 3 after completing a scheduled 15-day dry dock at the Seaspan shipyard in Victoria, Canada.
Enhancements included refreshed interior and open-deck guest spaces and a renewed Effy jewelry boutique. The ship also received Carnival’s new From Sea to Shining Sea bow crest, which the company said symbolizes its American spirit.
Carnival Radiance operates throughout the year from Long Beach. Its itineraries include four- and five-day cruises to Baja Mexico and the Mexican Riviera, calling at Ensenada and Catalina Island. The schedule also features select 14-day Carnival Journeys voyages to Hawaii.
The vessel originally entered service in 2000 under the name Carnival Victory. The report said the 2,984-passenger ship underwent a $200 million refurbishment in 2021 and was renamed Carnival Radiance.
