Carnival Panorama guest shares birthday disappointment and cabin surprise
TikTok user Kendra said crew later left a card, prosecco and small desserts after she raised concerns about the lack of a birthday acknowledgment.
A Carnival Panorama passenger said she was initially disappointed after receiving no gift or celebration for her birthday aboard the ship.
Kendra, who discussed the experience on TikTok, said she brought the absence of a birthday acknowledgment to the attention of a worker on board. She later found a card, a small bottle of prosecco and a covered dessert plate in her room, according to the account.
Kendra described the dessert as an assortment of small treats that were also available from the ship’s buffet. Although the items provided a belated acknowledgment of the occasion, she presented them as falling short of what she had expected for her birthday.
Carnival also sells birthday packages for passengers who want to arrange a celebration in advance. Such packages generally include decorations and a full cake, according to the report.
