Carnival monitors three storms as scheduled sailings continue
Ports in Galveston, New Orleans and Tampa remained open, while the cruise line reported no expected Long Beach impact.

Carnival Cruise Line said its Fleet Operations Center was monitoring Hurricane Isaias and Tropical Storms Rachel and Simon for potential effects on homeports and sailings. The company said ships would keep a safe distance from active weather systems.
The Port of Galveston remained open. Carnival said Carnival Breeze’s October 5, 2026 voyage and Carnival Dream’s October 3 sailing were following their original itineraries, while Carnival Jubilee’s October 3 cruise was maintaining its original route. The line also listed October 10 departures for Carnival Breeze and Carnival Dream.
The Port of New Orleans was operating normally, subject to changing conditions. Carnival Liberty’s October 4 voyage was continuing on its original route and was scheduled to return October 11. Carnival Valor’s October 8 embarkation for a four-night Cozumel cruise was proceeding on schedule.
Port Tampa Bay was also open and monitoring conditions. Carnival Paradise returned as scheduled from its October 4 cruise, and its October 8 departure was set to proceed as planned.
Carnival said Rachel and Simon were not expected to affect the Port of Long Beach. Carnival Radiance was following its original voyage plan, while Carnival Firenze and Carnival Panorama were operating as planned. Passengers on the listed voyages were advised to enroll in Carnival’s text notification system for prompt route or terminal updates.
