Carnival Legend makes final Greenock visit of the sailing season

Carnival Legend arrived at Greenock’s Ocean Terminal that morning, marking the ship’s final visit to Greenock of the sailing season. The call formed part of its current itinerary around the UK and Ireland.
The 10-day cruise began in Dover on August 20. Carnival Legend has capacity for as many as 2,500 passengers and is served by a crew of 930.
Amenities aboard the vessel include the WaterWorks aqua park and multiple dining choices. These facilities are available on a ship that first entered service more than two decades ago.
Carnival Legend was launched in 2001 and was christened by Dame Judi Dench. The vessel subsequently began operating the following year.
