Carnival guests fund family apartment near Sydney Children’s Hospital
Conga for Kids donations are supporting free accommodation for families through a new Sydney Children’s Hospital Foundation program.

Donations collected during Conga for Kids deck parties aboard every Carnival Cruise Line sailing from Sydney have funded a dedicated one-bedroom apartment for families who need to stay near Sydney Children’s Hospital in Randwick.
The apartment is part of the Sydney Children’s Hospital Foundation’s new Patient Family Accommodation Program, which gives families free access to apartments at the Scape Lachlan Building in Kensington. The building is located minutes from the hospital.
Families using the funded apartment also have access to workspaces, outdoor areas, a pool, laundry facilities and a 24-hour concierge.
Carnival guests can contribute by purchasing a $20 Conga for Kids T-shirt on cruises departing from Sydney and Brisbane. Proceeds support the Sydney Children’s Hospital Foundation and Queensland Children’s Hospital Foundation.
