Carnival Cruise Line launches Carnival Rewards loyalty program
The program combines redeemable points, status-qualifying stars and milestone recognition based on days sailed.

Carnival Cruise Line has introduced Carnival Rewards, a loyalty program offering additional ways for guests to earn rewards, attain status levels and receive recognition. Members can earn three Carnival Rewards Points for each eligible dollar spent with Carnival, including gratuities, plus one Point for every Casino Point remaining at the end of a sailing.
Carnival Rewards Points may be applied toward future Carnival cruises and qualifying onboard experiences, including shore excursions, specialty dining and spa treatments. Separately, Status Qualifying Stars determine members’ status and associated benefits, while milestones will recognize the number of days sailed.
The program has four tiers. Members receive Red status upon enrollment, while Gold requires 10,000 Stars, Platinum requires 50,000 and Diamond requires 100,000. The first status-qualifying period is scheduled to run from Sept. 1, 2026, through Dec. 31, 2028.
Carnival said members who attain Diamond status in its VIFP program by Aug. 31, 2026, will move into Carnival Rewards with lifetime Diamond status. VIFP members who reach Platinum by that date will receive a 10,000-Star boost during each qualifying period, providing an accelerated route toward Carnival Rewards Platinum status.
