Carnival Corporation plans 2029 fleet changes for three cruise brands
Arcadia will move from P&O Cruises to Holland America Line, while Queen Anne is scheduled to join P&O after its world voyage.

Carnival Corporation has announced two fleet changes planned for 2029 involving P&O Cruises, Holland America Line and Cunard.
Arcadia is scheduled to complete a farewell season with P&O Cruises on Aug. 21, 2029, before becoming the 12th ship in Holland America Line’s fleet. The vessel is expected to add capacity for more than 2,000 guests.
Arcadia is a Vista-Class ship, placing it in the same class as Holland America Line’s Oosterdam, Noordam, Westerdam and Zuiderdam. The cruise line said the addition would offer greater flexibility for deploying ships worldwide and provide another platform for its multiyear Holland America Evolution fleet transformation program. Plans for upgrades to Arcadia were expected to be finalized within several months.
Cunard’s 3,000-passenger Queen Anne is scheduled to replace Arcadia at P&O Cruises after completing its 2028-2029 World Voyage. Major design changes are planned for Queen Anne in 2029 to bring the ship into alignment with the P&O fleet.
