Carnival completes new amenities at RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay
The private destination now features an expanded beachfront, a docking pier, new transportation options and upgraded food and beverage venues.

Carnival Cruise Line has announced the completion of new amenities and an expanded white-sand beachfront at RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay. Guests now have access to complimentary loungers and umbrellas, while cabanas and daybeds can be reserved for an additional comfort option.
New and upgraded dining and beverage locations include Orchid Beach Grill, Hibiscus Beach Grill, Luna Tide Beach Bar, Stay Awhile Beach Shack and Lil’ Tiki Bar. Carnival said the venues will serve island-style meals, buffet selections and drinks in shaded beachfront settings.
A new pier allows cruise ships to dock directly at the destination and enables Carnival’s Excel-class vessels to visit for the first time. The cruise line has also added an island-wide tram service and the Papaya Pathway, a walking route for guests who prefer to explore on foot.
Carnival said the island’s existing south side is also receiving updated design features and improvements to food and beverage venues. Activities and shore excursions will remain available. According to the announcement, 22 ships across the fleet currently call at RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay on itineraries sailing from the United States.
