Azura and Crystal Serenity bring about 4,000 passengers to Arrecife
The cruise calls coincided with taxi scheduling measures for Arrecife’s autumn and winter cruise season.

Around 4,000 passengers aboard Azura and Crystal Serenity visited Arrecife on Thursday. Both cruise ships arrived early that day and docked at the Naos and Los Mármoles facilities, where they were due to remain until their scheduled evening departures.
Ahead of the new autumn and winter cruise season, Arrecife’s Transport Department introduced rotating shifts for the city’s taxis. The department is led by Councilman Mario González Altube.
According to the Transport Department, the rotation is intended to help maintain taxi availability across Arrecife on days when cruise ships arrive. The arrangements cover taxi ranks serving the city’s central area as well as its neighbourhoods, with the aim of keeping vehicles available beyond the locations used by arriving cruise passengers.
