Aroya brings about 3,400 cruise visitors to Aqaba
The call from Jeddah included planned excursions to Aqaba attractions, Petra and Wadi Rum.

Aroya arrived at Aqaba Port from Jeddah carrying about 3,400 tourists, most of them Saudi nationals, along with approximately 1,200 crew members.
The ship’s tourism program included visits to sites in Aqaba, Petra and Wadi Rum. For the port call, nine shuttle buses were allocated for local transportation, while eight tourist buses were assigned to Petra and two to Wadi Rum. Another 10 buses were designated for tours of Aqaba’s main attractions, with the excursion buses scheduled to return in the evening.
Aroya operates a regular itinerary that departs from Jeddah, calls at Sharm El-Sheikh in Egypt and Aqaba in Jordan, and then returns to Jeddah.
