Arcadia to leave P&O Cruises for Holland America Line in 2029
The ship’s farewell program includes a 126-night world cruise before a planned dry dock, renovation and rebranding.

Carnival has announced that Arcadia will transfer from P&O Cruises to Holland America Line in August 2029 as part of a wider fleet refresh. Cunard’s Queen Anne is set to move to P&O Cruises. Following a dry dock for renovations and rebranding, Arcadia is expected to join Holland America’s Vista-Class fleet.
Arcadia’s farewell season is scheduled to start with a 16-night Atlantic islands cruise departing Dec. 21, 2028. The Christmas and New Year sailing includes a Madeira call on New Year’s Eve. A 126-night World Cruise will follow on Jan. 6, 2029, with maiden calls at Nosy Be, Hiroshima, Mahé, Kochi, Osaka and Puerto Princesa. P&O Cruises lists Early Saver fares from £18,499 per person for a balcony cabin based on double occupancy.
The ship is then due to operate a 21-night Mediterranean itinerary from June 4, a 14-night Baltic voyage from June 25 and a 16-night British Isles cruise from July 9. Its final P&O Cruises sailing is planned as a 22-night central Mediterranean cruise departing July 30. The voyages form part of P&O Cruises’ winter 2028-29 collection, covering 130 destinations and also featuring Canary Islands fly-cruises aboard Azura and USA and Caribbean itineraries aboard Aurora.
