Arcadia to join Holland America fleet in 2029
The Vista-class ship will undergo work through the Holland America Evolution renewal program before entering service.

Holland America Line says Arcadia will join its fleet in 2029, increasing the total to 12 ships and adding capacity for more than 2,000 guests. The vessel shares its Vista-class platform with Oosterdam, Noordam, Westerdam and Zuiderdam.
Before beginning service for Holland America, Arcadia is scheduled to be reworked as part of Holland America Evolution, the company’s multiyear fleet-renewal program. The cruise line has not yet disclosed the ship’s planned onboard changes or future deployment.
Arcadia is due to leave P&O Cruises after a farewell season concluding on Aug. 21, 2029. Cunard’s 3,000-passenger Queen Anne is planned to replace it at P&O Cruises following a renaming and refit after the ship’s 2028-29 World Voyage.
Holland America previously announced several additions for Oosterdam and Zuiderdam, including the Grand Dutch Café, a renovated Ocean Bar, Bridgeview Suites and Solo Verandah cabins. Oosterdam’s updated configuration is scheduled to debut in fall 2027, with Zuiderdam following in April 2028.
