APT Travel Group Opens European and Nile Cruises to North Americans

APT Solara and APT Ostara will lead the expansion, while Travelmarvel plans a new Egypt itinerary for the fall.

APT Travel Group is making its European and Nile river cruise products available to North American customers, beginning with APT Solara and APT Ostara. Operated by the group’s APT Luxury Travel brand, each ship accommodates 154 guests.

The vessels feature six dining venues. Among them is Grüner Bar & Dining, which uses a hydraulic lift to move from Deck 3 to the open Sun Deck.

APT Solara and APT Ostara will sail seven- and 15-day Magnificent Europe itineraries between Budapest and Amsterdam. Experiences are set to include morning tea at Namedy Castle hosted by Princess Heide von Hohenzollern, along with a private evening at Vienna’s City Palace featuring cocktails, an orchestra and an operatic performance.

The group is also expanding on the Nile through Travelmarvel, its premium tour and cruise brand. Travelmarvel plans to introduce its Treasures of Egypt and the Nile itinerary in the fall. The program combines a Cairo stay with a river voyage between Luxor and Aswan aboard Travelmarvel Sirius, which the company describes as the brand’s first dedicated river ship for Egypt.
