Antonio Coppola takes technical command of Carnival Adventure
The former Pacific Adventure became part of Carnival Cruise Line’s expanded four-ship Australian fleet in March 2025.

Carnival Cruise Line said Antonio Coppola took technical command of Carnival Adventure in June, marking his latest engineering leadership assignment with the company.
Coppola began his Carnival career aboard Carnival Elation. According to the cruise line, his subsequent roles included helping establish the Facility Maintenance Manager position and serving as Staff Chief Engineer before assuming technical command of Carnival Adventure.
Carnival Adventure, previously named Pacific Adventure, entered Carnival’s fleet in March 2025 alongside Carnival Encounter after P&O Cruises Australia was integrated into Carnival. Carnival President Christine Duffy later led a celebration in Sydney formally welcoming Carnival Adventure.
The arrival of Carnival Adventure and Carnival Encounter increased Carnival’s Australian fleet to four vessels. They joined Carnival Splendor and Carnival Luminosa in the market.
