American Cruise Lines christens American Ranger in New York
The 130-guest Patriot Class vessel entered service with a Hudson River fall foliage sailing.

American Cruise Lines christened American Ranger on September 24 at Historic Catskill Point in Catskill, New York. Susan Renner, the cruise line’s longtime treasurer and board chair, served as godmother for the vessel.
The four-deck Patriot Class ship accommodates 130 guests. Its staterooms, including single accommodations and suites, each feature a private balcony.
American Ranger began its inaugural Hudson River Fall Foliage cruise from New York City on September 19. The voyage concluded in Albany on September 26.
Looking ahead, American Cruise Lines plans to operate its Hudson River cruises roundtrip from Albany in 2027. Those itineraries are expected to include a New York City call and excursions, along with sailing past the Statue of Liberty and views of the city skyline.
The company also plans to add three ships in 2027: American Mariner, American Navigator and American Anthem.
