Aman at Sea’s Amangati Floats Out in Genoa

The new ship will undergo interior finishing ahead of its planned May 2027 debut in the Mediterranean.

Aman at Sea’s first cruise ship, Amangati, has been floated out at the T. Mariotti shipyard in Genoa, Italy, marking a construction milestone for the vessel.

The cruise line said Amangati will next be moved to the shipyard’s outfitting quay in Genoa. Interior finishing work is expected to continue there over the coming months.

Amangati is scheduled to begin sailing on May 7, 2027, with a six-night voyage from Palma de Mallorca to Nice. The departure will open the ship’s inaugural Mediterranean season, which is planned to feature itineraries lasting between five and eight nights.

According to Aman at Sea, the maiden season will include voyages across the Mediterranean, Adriatic, Ionian and Aegean seas. Reservations are currently available for those inaugural sailings, as well as for the ship’s announced Caribbean voyages in 2027.
