AIDASol completes final 2026 visit to Fishguard
The Aida Cruises ship arrived with more than 2,000 passengers during the area’s summer cruise season.

AIDASol anchored in Fishguard Harbour at 7am on Thursday, September 3, marking the ship’s final call at Fishguard in 2026. More than 2,000 passengers were aboard.
Passengers were taken ashore in tenders and welcomed by Fishguard Friendly Faces volunteers, Fishguard mayor Steve Hughes and Jemima Nicholas, who wore Welsh costume. Some visitors joined coach trips to St Davids Cathedral, Carew Castle and Tenby. Around two-thirds of those who disembarked were expected to use a free shuttle bus to Fishguard.
Operated by Aida Cruises, AIDASol was built in 2011 and has 14 decks. The vessel can carry up to 2,686 passengers and 609 crew members.
The call was among two dozen cruise-ship visits scheduled for Fishguard, Goodwick and the surrounding area that summer. The season began with La Laperouse on April 19 and was due to conclude when World Voyager berthed for the day on September 30.
