Adora Cruises and Starboard plan duty-free complex aboard Adora Flora City
The onboard shopping offer will bring together nearly 100 Chinese and international brands across 12 categories.
Adora Cruises and travel retailer Starboard have agreed to jointly develop a duty-free shopping complex aboard Adora Flora City. The ship is scheduled to depart Guangzhou Nansha port on its maiden voyage on 22 November.
The planned retail offer will feature nearly 100 Chinese and international brands spanning 12 categories. These will include fine jewellery, fashion jewellery, watches, luxury handbags and premium fashion.
Adora Flora City will also introduce luxury vintage through the What Goes Around Comes Around concept. According to the companies, this will be the first such offering aboard a Chinese-built large cruise ship.
Olympic diving champion Guo Jingjing has been invited to serve as the ship’s Naming Ambassador. She will officially name Adora Flora City during its inaugural ceremony.
